ODRA’s priorities are organized into key committees to ensure tasks are delegated according to members’ expertise and level of commitment. Legislative Committee
This committee monitors impactful bills, refines legislative language, and guides Deputy Registrars through every step of the advocacy process. This committee collaborates closely with lobbyist Rebecca Simpson and BMV administration to ensure that the voice of Deputy Registrars is heard and their needs addressed.
Technology Commitee
This committee collaborates with ODRA's tech partner GovSoft to address key challenges facing the Deputy Registrar community. Committed to driving innovation, this committee actively works to develop forward-thinking solutions that enhance operations and improve the future of our field.
Communications Commitee
This committee fosters connections between Deputy Registrars, BMV leadership, legislators, and key partners. It coordinates fundraisers, oversees relationships with preferred vendors, and plans and manages meetings and events to support the DR community and its initiatives.
